Brief Profile of our Directors

Mr. Pradeep Kumar Jain
(Chairman & Managing Director)

Mr. Pradeep Kumar Jain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and has over 43 years of experience in the infrastructure and allied sectors. Before forming PNC Infratech, Mr. Jain was engaged in the business of providing integrated construction services for infrastructure sector through PNC Construction Company, a sole proprietorship firm at Agra. He has been on the Board of Directors since incorporation. His current responsibilities include overall administration and monitoring of projects and liaisoning with the government and non-Government agencies.

Mr. Chakresh Kumar Jain
(Managing Director)

Mr. Chakresh Kumar Jain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Law. His experience spans over 33 years with expertise in development of infrastructure sector, such as construction of highways, airports, rail over bridges among others. He has been on the Board of Directors since inception. His current responsibilities include overall administration of procurement, finance & accounts, plant & equipment and relationship management activities of the company.

Mr. Yogesh Kumar Jain holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and has 28 years of experience in business strategy, planning, investment, bidding, development, procurement, execution, operation and management of infrastructure projects across sectors including highways, bridges, flyovers, airport runways, development of industrial areas, track construction for rail freight corridors and others. He has been on the Board of Directors since inception. His expertise lies in business development, relationship management, contract administration and project implementation from concept to commissioning.

Mr. Anil Kumar Rao
(Whole Time Director) 

Mr. Anil Kumar Rao holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Construction Technology & Management. He has over 34 years of experience in Implementation and Operation & Management of infrastructure projects in array of sectors, which include highways, bridges, airport pavements, rail track construction, heavy industrial structures and industrial area development etc across geographies and cultures. Prior to joining PNC Infratech in the year 1999, he had worked with Progressive Constructions, Gulfar Engineering & Contracting, Oman, IRCON International, Somdatt Builders in various senior positions. He is also a member of Indian Roads Congress and Institution of Engineers India. He has been a Director on our Board since November 17, 2000. His current responsibilities include overall monitoring, execution and O & M of projects.

Mr. Talluri Raghupati Rao
(Whole Time Director)

Mr. T R Rao is a Civil Engineer with Masters in Planning from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi with specialization in Transport Infrastructure. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management. Mr. Rao is having over three decades of professional experience in planning, engineering, development, implementation and management of infrastructure projects across sectors viz. highways, expressways, bridges, airports, ports, industrial area development, urban transport & urban infrastructure. He also had extensively worked on structuring projects on PPP models. He has joined Company in May, 2014 as Executive Vice President (Infra.) and has been elevated to the Company’s Board since August, 2019 as Whole Time Director. He looks after business development, monitoring & coordinating of implementation, contract administration, overseeing operational projects on BOT-Toll, Annuity & HAM, arbitration and corporate communications of the Company. Prior to joining PNC Infratech, he had worked with SREI Infra. Finance Ltd. as Senior Vice President, IL&FS IDC Ltd. as Vice President and RITES (PSU) as a Dy. GM. His experience spanned evenly across government and corporate sectors. He has also worked on various international assignments in Botswana, Singapore, Thailand and Nepal.

Ms. Deepika Mittal holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Law. She is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Her professional experience of 19 years includes financial management and taxation and audit activities. She is also a designated partner at M/s. PMA & Co., Chartered Accountants, Agra. She is serving as a Director on company’s Board since September 8, 2014.

Mr. Gauri Shanker
(Independent Director)

Mr. Gauri Shankar holds bachelor degree in Science and Commerce; He has over 42 years’ of experience in Banking and Finance and served as Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Punjab National Bank in 2015. He was also the Executive Director of the same Bank. Prior to this, he worked in Bank of India in various positions, which include General Manager of various Departments viz, Finance (CFO), National Banking Group North (Operations), Asset Recovery, Learning and Development (HR) and Strategy and Planning. Mr. Shankar has vast experience in domestic and international operations. Worked in Bank of India’s Singapore and Jakarta Operations. His forte is Finance, Strategy and HR Development. He also worked as DGM and Zonal Manager of Lucknow Zone. While in PNB, he was Chairman of PNB’s wholly owned subsidiary Punjab National Bank (International) Limited, London and director on other subsidiaries and JVs (for different periods) namely PNB Housing Finance Limited, PNB Gilts Ltd. and Punjab National Bank Kazakhstan. He is serving as the Director on Company’s Board since May 23, 2018.

Shri Krishan Kumar Jalan holds Master of Philosophy degree in Mathematics and Public Administration. He is former Secretary to Government of India and spent over three and half decades in the Indian Administrative Service, Haryana Cadre. Shri K KJalan has held various posts such as Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Director of various departments of Haryana Government. In his initial career, he worked as District Magistrate/Collector of five districts in Haryana namely Bhiwani, Sonepat, Rewari, Faridabad and Karnal. At Government of India, he had worked as Central Provident Fund Commissioner; major e-governance initiatives and activities were undertaken in the Employee Provident Fund Organisation under his leadership. He has also worked as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. He is serving as the Director on Company’s Board since February 13, 2019.

Mr. Subhash Chander Kalia
(Independent Director)

Mr. Subhash Chander Kalia holds a bachelor's degree in Arts from Punjab University and a master's degree in Political Science, with the distinction of standing first in the University from Guru Nanak Dev University and is also a Gold Medalist. He is also qualified CAIIB.

He has over 41 years of experience in the banking and finance sector and served incritical positions in various banks such as Vijaya Bank, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of India as well as Chairman of Regional Rural Bank, Pratapgarh. Post- retirement, he has worked as an advisor and head of the debt market cell constituted by the GoI under the India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited as well as an advisor to the Spice Group of Companies in respect of their banking license application. Presently, Mr. Kalia is also serving as an external member of the Empowered Committee of the Reserve Bank of India on External Commercial Borrowing, as a member of the Governing Council of Bankers, Institute of Rural Development, Lucknow and as a member of Banking and Finance Committee of the Indian Merchant's Chamber, Mumbai.
